How to Request a Department of Corrections Public Record

If you are sure a Public Record is what you are seeking, use the button below to open a new page allowing you to choose from a wide array of records maintained by the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry. You may also use the page to fill out a large text box to request a public record that does not appear as a selection. Public Access will assess the feasibility of your request. You will be prompted to specify the type of record you are requesting from the following options:

Effective: November 6, 2023:

The ADCRR will no longer approve public records requests for inmates' visitation list (which is often referred to as the 20 list) or provide inmates' tablet contacts. This decision has been made to ensure operational security, and the safety of staff, inmates, and the public.

How to Pay For Your Department of Corrections Public Record Request

After receiving your invoice, click the button below to use our online payment system, where the record request can be specified and an appropriate payment submitted. Refer to the following table of standard charges for the price of each record or media file that you are requesting.

How to Receive Your Requested Document

The application that is used to request your public record will prompt you to input a valid email address so Public Access can communicate with you concerning your request and/or upload responsive records for release to you. A physical address or P.O. Box can also be specified to receive paper copies of your request.
