Governmental Affairs & Partnerships is under the supervision of the Chief of Staff, Anna Black, at the direction of ADCRR Director Ryan Thornell, Ph.D.
This office serves as the central point of contact for the State Legislature, Congressional Delegation, and local Elected Officials on governmental and legislative matters pertaining to ADCRR.
The Government Affairs team engages in legislative and advocacy work, ensuring ADCRR’s interests are represented. This team is committed to mutual respect and rapport-building during negotiations and collaborations with the public, lawmakers, the Office of Governor Hobbs, and community groups.

Chief Legislative Liaison- Brianna Williams (Farmer)
Brianna Williams, ADCRR Chief Legislative Liaison, has worked in state government for nearly 9 years across the Arizona Judicial and Executive branches. A Phoenix native, Mrs. Williams obtained her Bachelor's in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Arizona State University and Masters in Human Rights Practices from the University of Arizona.
