UPDATE (1/25): ASPC-Tucson Escape

At approximately 04:00 am, Arizona State Prison Complex-Tucson initiated escape response procedures after inmate Elijah Palmer, ADCRR #370242, was confirmed unaccounted for from the minimum security Whetstone Unit. 

ASPC-Tucson staff, working in close communication with local law enforcement and the Department of Public Safety are actively searching for Mr. Palmer.  

Mr. Palmer was sentenced out of Pima County for the unlawful use of means of transportation on August 06, 2024, with a projected eligible release date of May 12, 2025.

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry confirms that inmate Elijah Palmer, ADCRR #370242, has been apprehended at approximately 1:23 pm by the U.S. Marshal’s Service and is in custody.
