SCHEDULED EXECUTION OF INMATE FRANK ATWOOD COMPLETED

PHOENIX- Pursuant to the Arizona Supreme Court’s Warrant of Execution issued on May 3, 2022, the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation, and Reentry carried out the execution of inmate Frank J. Atwood (ADCRR #062887) on June 8, 2022. Atwood was declared deceased at 10:16 a.m.

The mode and manner of the death was by lethal injection.

Frank Atwood was convicted of killing 8-year-old Vicki Lynne Hoskinson in 1984.
