TUCSON (Tuesday, May 16, 2023) – Inmate Tony Kangas, 59, ADCRR #315991, died on May 16, 2023 at ASPC-Tucson.
Inmate Kangas was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2020 after he was sentenced out of Maricopa County for Robbery and Failure To Register as a Sex Offender.
His assigned housing location was ASPC-Tucson.
All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
