TUCSON (Thursday, June 29, 2023) – Inmate Santos Alvarez, 71, ADCRR #124822, died on June 29, 2023 at ASPC-Tucson.

Inmate Alvarez was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2005 after he was sentenced out of Maricopa County for Second Degree Murder.

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Tucson.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
