Inmate Death Notification – Rafael Nunez

BUCKEYE (March 13, 2025) – Inmate Rafael Nunez, 44, ADCRR #158038, died on March 13, 2025, at the Abrazo Buckeye Emergency Center.

Inmate Nunez was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2017 after being sentenced out of Navajo County for Promoting Prison Contraband.

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Lewis.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
