Inmate Death Notification – Pete Chavez

ELOY (March 7, 2025) – Inmate Pete Chavez, 54, ADCRR #189701, died on March 7, 2025, at the Banner University Medical Center Phoenix.

Inmate Chavez was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2021 after being sentenced out of Navajo County for Resisting Arrest and a Dangerous Drug Violation.

His assigned housing location was the Red Rock Correctional Center.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
