Inmate Death Notification – Merlin Murphy

TUCSON (Tuesday, June 27, 2023) – Inmate Merlin Murphy, 68, ADCRR #340930, died on June 27, 2023 at ASPC-Tucson.

Inmate Murphy was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2021 after he was sentenced out of Pima County for Attempt to Commit Sexual Conduct with a Minor.

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Tucson.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
