Inmate Death Notification – Juan Chavarria

BUCKEYE (March 21, 2025) – Inmate Juan Chavarria, 43, ADCRR #156600, died on March 21, 2025, at the Abrazo West Campus.

Inmate Chavarria was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2001 after being sentenced out of Maricopa County for Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, and First-Degree Murder.

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Lewis.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
