Inmate Death Notification – Joseph Downey

PHOENIX (Thursday, December 08, 2022) – Inmate Joseph Downey, 52, ADCRR #098715, died on December 08, 2022 at Valleywise Health Medical Center.

Inmate Downey was admitted to ADCRR custody in 1996 after he was sentenced out of Mohave County for First Degree Murder.

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Phoenix.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
