FLORENCE (Saturday, May 06, 2023) – Inmate Joe Ortiz, 56, ADCRR #143493, died on May 06, 2023 at ASPC-Eyman.

Inmate Ortiz was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2023 after he was sentenced out of Maricopa County for Third Degree Burglary.

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Eyman.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
