Inmate Death Notification – Jay Thomas

TUCSON (February 21, 2025) – Inmate Jay Thomas, 66, ADCRR #290255, died on February 21, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Inmate Thomas was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2014 after being sentenced out of Maricopa County for Fraudulent Schemes and Artifices, Forgery, Criminal Possession of Forgery Device, and Attempted Hindrance of Prosecution.

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Tucson.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
