Inmate Death Notification – James Theiss

PHOENIX (Wednesday, January 17, 2024) – Inmate James Theiss, 48, ADCRR #199214, died on January 17, 2024 at ASPC-Phoenix.

Inmate Theiss was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2023 after he was sentenced out of Maricopa County for Arson of an Occupied Structure and Unlawful Flight from Pursuing Law Enforcement Vehicle. 

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Phoenix

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
