Inmate Death Notification – Guadalupe Barrios

ELOY (February 27, 2025) – Inmate Guadalupe Barrios, 37, ADCRR #363649, died on February 27, 2025, at La Palma Correctional Center. 

Barrios was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2023 after being sentenced out of Pima County for Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Death or Physical Injuries.

His assigned housing location was La Palma Correctional Center.

Due to the nature of Barrios’s death, an investigation is currently being conducted by ADCRR’s Office of the Inspector General. More information will be shared as it becomes available. All inmate deaths are also investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
