Inmate Death Notification – Caleb Shaffery

TUCSON (March 21, 2025) – Inmate Caleb Shaffery, 34, ADCRR #350218, died on March 21, 2025, at the Banner Gateway Medical Center.

Inmate Shaffery was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2021 after being sentenced out of Maricopa County for First-Degree Murder.

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Tucson.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
