EXECUTION SCHEDULED FOR INMATE FRANK J. ATWOOD

PHOENIX — Pursuant to the Arizona Supreme Court’s Warrant of Execution issued on May 3, 2022, the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation, and Reentry will carry out the execution of inmate Frank J. Atwood (ADCRR #062887) on June 8, 2022.

Frank Atwood was convicted of killing 8-year-old Vicki Lynne Hoskinson in 1984.

The execution is scheduled for 10 a.m. at ASPC-Florence.

Members of the press planning to attend the media briefing following the execution must be in the media staging parking lot by no later than 8:00 a.m. From 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., members of the press will be taken by shuttle van to the media briefing room.

The media staging parking area location will open at 5:00 a.m. on June 8, 2022. Following the conclusion of the press briefing, a van will bring members of the media back to the media staging parking area.
