YUMA (Wednesday, January 4, 2023) – Inmate Johnny Armenta, 41, ADCRR #221559, died on January 4, 2023 at Yuma Regional Medical Center.

Inmate Armenta was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2022 after he was sentenced out of Maricopa County for Criminal Damage, Aggravated Assault, and Unlawful Use of Means of Transportation.

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Yuma.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
