FLORENCE (Saturday, December 31, 2022) – Inmate Antonio Valdez, 53, ADCRR #097560, died on December 31, 2022 at Florence Hospital.

Inmate Valdez was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2006 after he was sentenced out of Pima County for Aggravated Assault and Misconduct Involving Weapons.

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Eyman.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
