Inmate Death Notification – Heron Gomez

FLORENCE (Tuesday, February 14, 2023) – Inmate Heron Gomez, 39, ADCRR #246150, died on February 14, 2023 at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center.

Inmate Gomez was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2018 after he was sentenced out of Maricopa County for Aggravated DUI.

His assigned housing location was ASP-Florence West.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
