YUMA (Saturday, March 04, 2023) – Inmate Carl Cox, 53, ADCRR #073690, died on March 04, 2023 at Banner University Medical Center.

Inmate Cox was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2019 after he was sentenced out of Maricopa County for Theft of Means of Transportation, Unlawful Failure to Return Rented Property, Misconduct Involving Weapons, Flight From a Law Enforcement Vehicle, and Armed Robbery.

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Yuma.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
