Facilities Management

Facilities Management oversees all new construction and remodel projects as well as various construction projects for ADCRR. Facilities Management also oversees building services for all Prison Facilities and Central Office buildings as well as safety and environmental services and fleet services.

• Construction Services consults, and makes recommendations on plan improvements, designs, and coordination on prison construction/modification projects.
• Building Services provides maintenance services, tenet relocations, and parking management for all Prison Facilities and Central Office buildings. Prepares and updates the Physical Plant Standards Manual.
• Safety and Environmental Services is responsible for the Department’s fire and life safety inspections, incident and injury related investigations for staff and residents, inspection testing and maintenance for fire alarm and suppression systems, regulatory/code compliance.
• Fleet Management is responsible for the Department's vehicle fleet, ensuring that guidelines are followed for purchasing, operating, maintaining and using vehicles for state business.
