Inmate Death Notification – Derrick Buford

TUCSON (Tuesday, November 28, 2023) – Inmate Derrick Buford, 35, ADCRR #261873, died on November 28, 2023 at Banner – University Medical Center South.

Inmate Buford was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2020 after he was sentenced out of Maricopa County for Kidnapping.

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Tucson.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
