2018 Food / Holiday Visit Schedule

ADC Inmate Visitation Policy

Kaibab

  • General population medium/close custody schedule is:
    • 8: 00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and holidays, i.e., New Years, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Valentines Day.
    • Check-in time is between 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
    • There will be no visits permitted after the 2:30 p.m. check-in time.
    • Once the visitor has left the visitation area, they are not permitted back in.
  • Visits for detention inmates are held as non-contact. The non-contact visitation hours are for a 2-hour period between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
  • All non-contact visits must be scheduled at least 72 hours Monday through Friday prior to the visit by contacting the Visitation Officer. Visits are held on Tuesday and Thursday.

Visitation applications must be returned by the prospective visitor to Kaibab Visitation at the address listed:

Coronado

  • Visitation schedule is Saturday, Sunday and all legal holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Apache

  • Visitation schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  
  • The non-contact visitation hours are for a 2-hour period between 9:00am and 2:00pm Monday through Friday.
    • Non-contact visits must be scheduled at least 72 hours prior to the visit by contacting the visitation office.

From Phoenix:

  • Enter the Institution from South Highway 87.
  • The prison will be on the West side of the highway.
  • This will take you directly to the Winslow Complex.

From Flagstaff:

  • Take I-40 east to Winslow. Winslow is approximately 60 minutes from Flagstaff.
  • From I-40, take the first Winslow exit 252, Hipkoe Road and turn right.
  • This will take you to a four-way stop. Turn left (east) on Second street to Williamson at the stop lights.
  • Turn right (south)and head south on Highway 87.
  • Approximately three miles on the right (west side) is the prison.

The Apache Unit is located on Highway 180 between Springerville and St. Johns, approximately 17 miles from Springerville and 15 miles from St. Johns.
