The Office of Continuous Improvement and Strategic Planning

The Office of Continuous Improvement (OCI) and Strategic Planning  works to deploy and embed the Arizona Management System across the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry. The Arizona Management System is an intentional, results-driven approach that enables every employee, at every level to reflect daily on how they did, find the waste, and decide how to do better going forward with sustainable progress. The OCI organization utilizes training, coaching and lean principles to drive continuous improvement in agency processes.

Additionally, Strategic Planning is responsible for overseeing the agency strategic planning process and for ensuring that the agency Five-Year Strategic Plan and Master List of State Government Programs publications are updated annually and submitted to the Governor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Budget. The Office also produces a variety of agency reports, acts as the Auditor General Liaison, and assists with intergovernmental issues and policy development.

Constituent Services

Constituent Services serves as a bridge between the Department and the community at large, providing a final resolution point for legitimate concerns regarding conditions of confinement, dissemination of useful and timely information, building community relationships, enhancing public awareness, promoting justice and positive change, and fostering respect for all while supporting the Department’s goals.

Victim Services

Victim Services strives to ensure that all crime victims are treated with fairness, dignity and respect throughout an inmate's incarceration and community supervision/parole period. The mission of ADCRR Office of Victim Services is to provide crime victims/survivors compassionate support during the post-conviction phase of the criminal justice system with release information, resources and restitution assistance throughout an inmate’s incarceration and supervision. We advocate for a better understanding of crime victims’ rights and other challenges victims face throughout the criminal justice system through education, presentations, and dedicated services to the community.
