 (TUCSON) Tuesday, July 8, 2014 – The Arizona Department of Corrections (ADC) will accept the donation of more than 1,600 Spanish-language textbooks from the Consulate General of Mexico at a ceremony to be held at the state prison complex in Tucson this Thursday, July 10, at 10 AM.

The books will assist inmates who are receiving education programming. They are being distributed to ADC facilities throughout Arizona.

The Consul General of Mexico in Phoenix, Ambassador Roberto Rodriguez Hernandez will present the textbooks to ADC Director Charles Ryan.

*Media should arrive at the Tucson Prison Complex no later than 9:30 AM to be escorted to the event location.
WHERE: ASPC-Tucson, 10000 S. Wilmot Rd. 

*Media should park in the main administrative parking lot and assemble at the Administration Bldg. You will be escorted by ADC officers to the event location inside the complex.
