October 27, 2021

(PHOENIX)— The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry has fully vaccinated more than 80% of its inmate population against the COVID-19 virus.

Among the Department’s current inmate population of 34,690 inmates, there are currently a total of 12 positive COVID cases system-wide, or less than 0.035% of the population. And of the inmates who have tested positive since the pandemic began early last year, more than 99% have recovered.

(PHOENIX) - The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR) is expanding its in-person visitation hours as part of the Department's Phase IV reopening. Effective immediately,visitation rooms may operate at 100 percent rated capacity. Vending machines are also now available again in the visitation units.

(PHOENIX) - The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR) has revised its in-person visitation hours as part of the Department's Phase III reopening.  The new hours will be effective August 21, 2021.  Phase II inmates will be eligible to receive one, four-hour block of in-person visits per week. Phase III inmates will be eligible to receive two, four-hour blocks of in-person visits per week.  In-person visits will need to be scheduled in advance with the unit visitation office.

July 9, 2021

(PHOENIX) — The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR) has resumed all Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) work programs as part of its Phase II reopening which began earlier this week.  ADCRR’s Maricopa and Pima Reentry Centers have also reopened along with in-person immigration hearings at all facilities.
